As a key member of our customer services team, the successful candidate will provide a friendly, efficient and proactive approach to all visitors and staff. Candidates must demonstrate a high level of professionalism and ensure the appropriate impression is given to all callers and visitors.

Duties will include operating a busy switchboard and handling calls efficiently in a multi-site environment as well as welcoming visitors to the office, offering refreshments, booking meeting rooms, dealing with post, generating PO numbers, passing invoices against PO numbers, docketing materials leaving the yard, undertaking a range of administration tasks to include data input, typing, filing and photocopying.   

Applicants must have: - 

  • A minimum of 4 years’ receptionist experience, handling a high volume of calls on top of a variety of administrative duties
  • A minimum of 6 GCSE’s at grade ‘C’ or above including English and Maths
  • Previous training on customer services would be a distinct advantage
  • A polite and professional manner, excellent telephone manner and previous experience in a customer service role
  • A strong knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including excel, word and PowerPoint    
  • An ability to carry out administrative duties fast and with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. 
  • The ability to self-manage, organise workload and demonstrate a flexible attitude to work

Human Resources Generalist (HRG/0517)

We are seeking to appoint a Human Resources Generalist who will be responsible for providing senior HR support to managers across the company by ensuring that best practises such as recruitment and selection, compensation and benefits, training and development, are consistently implemented and in accordance with the overall aims and objectives of the organisation.  

Key responsibilities will include: -

  • The management of the compensation and benefits process within the business 
  • Assist with talent acquisition and the recruitment process 
  • Conduct the company induction process
  • Implementation of a training and development plan 
  • Assist in the development of human resource policies in line with legislative requirements 
  • Management of the performance management policy 
  • Gather HR data and statistics for board meetings 
  • Administration of all HR-related documentation, such as offer letters, contracts of employment, updating personnel files and induction information
  • Maintaining all fair employment monitoring information to ensure that it is up-to-date and accurate for the annual monitoring return. 
  • Providing advice and guidance to managers and staff on employment legislation as and when required.
  • Providing advice and support on all employee relations issues for management, in terms of disciplinary, capability and grievance matters.

Criteria

  • Applicants must have a minimum of 4 years’ senior human resources experience, at a generalist level or equivalent, within the manufacturing industry. 
  • Applicants must be educated to degree level in business related discipline and preferably be CIPD qualified.  
  • A strong working knowledge of HR legislation is essential as well as good IT skills and communication skills. 



Executive Personal Assistant (Ref EPA/0517)

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing full secretarial and administrative support to the managing director and board of directors within the company including the organisation and co-ordination of travel itineraries, minute taking during meetings, diary planning and organisation of meetings in an efficient and professional manner,  as well as general office management duties.  

Criteria

  • Applicants must have a third level qualification in a business related discipline  
  • Minimum of five years PA experience operating at senior executive level
  • This position requires a high level of professionalism and confidentiality with effective communication and planning skills in a busy office environment.

Concrete Finishers Ref CF/0517

  • Pouring and finishing precast concrete – this role will require evening shift operation, hours of work are 2pm – 11pm
OR
  • Hard finishing and etching of precast concrete units – this role will require day shift operation
  • Ideally the successful candidates will have 6 months’ relevant experience although this is not essential. 




Shuttering Joiners (Ref JR/0117)

As a member of the joinery team within a busy production facility, the successful candidates will be involved in the mould and shuttering process for the production of stairs and wall panels.

Criteria

  • Must be a skilled joiner with a minimum of two years joinery experience
  • Shuttering experience would be an advantage 
  • Must have the ability to understand drawings and to work as part of a team 
  • Flexible to work overtime such as evenings and/or weekends to meet production requirements.



Structural Engineer (Ref: SE/0117)

This senior technical role will have responsibility for the design and physical integrity of our large structural projects, providing technical expertise, solutions and guidance to our sales, design, manufacturing and site teams across the business. The successful candidates will work closely with our client and other engineering professionals on safe design and solution development.  

Criteria

  • Applicants must be educated to degree level in Civil/Structural Engineering and have a minimum of 2 years structural engineering experience within the construction industry.  
  • A sound knowledge of Autocad is essential 
  • A working knowledge of Revit would be a distinct advantage. 
  • Applicants must be customer focused with strong communication skills.  



Precast Erector Apprentice – N. Ireland, England and Scotland Ref: PEA/0315

Creagh Concreter Products Ltd are looking to build for the future and therefore a number of vacancies have now arisen for Precast Erector Apprentice within a busy and demanding structures division.  This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidates to develop within the manufacturing and construction industry.   

The role of Precast Erector Apprentice, who will report directly to the Structures Manager, will be significant in projects as diverse as high rise buildings and car parks with the majority of projects based in England and Scotland therefore will involve travelling.  The apprenticeship of 2 years will allow you to learn all of the skills necessary to become a competent Precast Erector, how to use specialist equipment and how to plan lifting operations.  Creagh Concrete Products Ltd will provide training in all aspects of precast design, manufacture and erection and training required to achieve NVQ Structural Precast Installer.

  • Previous site experience would be an advantage.
