Production Operator / Brick Pointer

Criteria

  • Have a current forklift licence up 7.5 tonne capacity, or willing to complete training provided by Creagh to obtain licence.

Maintenance Fitter

As a key member of the production team, the successful candidate will be responsible for machine duties will include refurbishing of production machine parts and general repairs to plant and machinery, safe operation of welding equipment, saws and material handling equipment. 

Key tasks of this role are preventative/planned maintenance and managing unplanned repairs and breakdowns with the ability to replace machine parts using fabrication techniques.  

Criteria

  • Maintenance in our Ardboe facility, to reduce machine downtime and increase efficiencies within the plant.
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years’ maintenance/fitting experience preferably within a production facility.
  • Strong welding and lathe skills are essential.
  • Must be flexible to work evenings and weekends if required and have strong organisational skills.




Workshop Joiners

We are seeking to recruit additional highly skilled and motivated workshop joiners within our factories at Toomebridge, who will be involved in the daily manufacturing of complex timber moulds for high quality architectural and structural precast products.    

As a member of the joinery team, the successful candidates will come from a finishing/workshop joinery background.  Applicants must have experience of reading technical drawings, fabricating moulds from drawings and working to strict dimensional and quality specifications.

Concrete Finishers - Wet Concrete

Location: Toomebridge

We are seeking to recruit additional experienced wet concrete finishers to join our evening/twilight concrete team within our factories at Toomebridge. 

As a member of the concrete team, the successful candidates will come from a finishing concrete background with good experience of working with wet concrete. This role will include both hand troweling and power floated finishes.  Concrete finisher duties will also include operating concrete premix lorry to collect concrete from the batching plant, placing concrete via skip, placing of wet concrete in the designated moulds and washing trucks and skips as required.

Applicants must have a good knowledge of shuttering and concrete casting/finishing.  Experience working with Architectural and special concretes would be a distinct advantage.  Core working hours are based on a 10 hour shift and typical working day will be from 1pm to 11pm.





Structural Engineer

This senior technical role will have responsibility for the design and physical integrity of our large structural projects, providing technical expertise, solutions and guidance to our sales, design, manufacturing and site teams across the business. The successful candidates will work closely with our client and other engineering professionals on safe design and solution development.  

Criteria

  • Applicants must be educated to degree level in Civil/Structural Engineering and have a minimum of 2 years structural engineering experience within the construction industry.
  • A sound knowledge of Autocad is essential
  • Working knowledge of software such as Robot, Tedds and Revit would be a distinct advantage.
  • Applicants must be customer focused with strong communication skills.
  • Precast concrete design experience preferable but not essential.




CAD/Revit Technicians

Location: Toomebridge

This role will involve working at design stage on a variety of prestigious and challenging building projects. The successful candidates will be part of a highly skilled team who will be responsible for developing general arrangement and manufacturing drawings for a wide range of structures and structural elements of our large flooring and precast concrete contracts.  

Criteria

  • Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years detailing experience within the construction industry and be fully competent in Revit.
  • Detailing experience in precast/reinforced concrete/structural steel would be desirable.
  • Applicants must have a knowledge of modern building techniques, structural details and materials.




Quantity Surveyor

As a member of a busy contracts team, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the achievement of agreed service as well as the accurate preparation of costing and accounts, commercial management of projects including contract terms, negotiation, subcontractor procurement, payment applications, cash collection, agreement of variations and final accounts, budget monitoring and forecasting and reporting on profit and loss status.

Criteria

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying plus 2 years post graduate experience in the construction industry
  • Ability to successfully meet monthly debt targets
  • IT Literate, with previous Sage software experience
  • Must be a highly motivated individual

Trainee Maintenance Electrician

The appointed candidate will be given full training to ensure they are successful in the role, and will be responsible for the following duties:

• Manufacturing conduit fittings
• Attaching faceplates
• Maintaining the store and keeping stock records
• Inspecting small equipment/tools
• Assisting electricians on projects

No previous experience is required, however all applicants must have good numeracy and literacy skills.





Commercial Manager

Location: Toomebridge

The Commercial Manager is required to ensure that all commercial aspects of our large precast concrete contracts are properly managed and controlled and that the commercial strategy is further developed and delivered throughout all contracting divisions in accordance with the requirements of the business.   

This senior role will include development and implementation of the commercial management processes and procedures, from inception to final account including involvement in estimating, the bid formation process, review of contract documentation, preparation of commercial risk assessments, control and monitoring of change in contracts as well as the management of claims and variation accounts, cash flow awareness along with accurate preparation of accounts in terms of cost/revenues and individual project financial statements. It will also involve the management of a team of Quantity Surveyors on a daily basis.  
 
Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior commercial role and preferably within a sub-contract capacity to main contractors.   The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate extensive contract and final account experience and have a proven track record of dispute resolution and commercial management of contracts.  A thorough knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts with design element clauses would be a distinct advantage.  





Maintenance Electrician

The successful candidate will be responsible for all industrial electrical maintenance throughout the company’s various production facilities and office buildings.  Key tasks of this role are; installation, repair and preventative electrical maintenance on existing production and facilities equipment; managing unplanned repairs and breakdowns whilst avoiding downtime and ensuring minimal disruption; installation and wiring of electric motors and machinery; initiating and modifying electrical designs; conducting annual Portable Appliance Testing (PAT testing) and Periodic Testing and Inspection; diagnoses, repairing and testing of malfunctioning equipment such as transformers, motors, cables.

Criteria

  • Must be a time served and multi skilled Maintenance Electrician to 18th Edition
  • A minimum of 2 years electrical maintenance experience preferably within a production facility in the construction industry
  • Flexible towards working hours and available for call outs
  • Must hold the following: Accreditation on the requirements of BS 7671 18th Edition
  • BS 2391 Inspection and Testing
  • City & Guilds 2377 PAT testing
  • IEE Wiring Regulations Certificate
