Inventory Controller

We are seeking to appoint an Inventory Controller to assist the Purchasing Manager at our Toome facility. This role will involve the maintaining and accurate record keeping of inventory levels across the business for all site and production equipment. 

Duties will include the overseeing and control of purchases from suppliers, maintaining stock levels and the safe storage of site and production tools, ensuring the return of all site equipment to head office in a proactive manner, recording and labelling of products alongside accurate and efficient record keeping.    Other responsibilities will include the control of goods inwards and outwards, management of raw materials, weekly audits, monthly stock takes and cost control.   

The Person:

  • Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous
  • Must have a valid forklift licence
  • Flexibility to travel to sites across the England/Scotland to manage materials
  • Must be computer literate
  • Have strong problem-solving skills
  • Manual handling will be a key part of the role.
