Junior Buyer

We are looking for a Junior Buyer to work with the Purchasing Manager at our Toome facility.

Responsibilities will include: –

• Control of goods inwards, outwards and equipment returns 
• Maintain stock control systems accurately and input new stock
• Place orders in a timely manner to avoid disruption to production
• Ensure cost effective purchasing and stock control
• Actively participate and contribute to managing “surplus” materials
• Assist in coordinating activities between Purchasing and Production 

Criteria: -

• Must be computer literate with experience in using Excel
• Must be a self-starter
• Must be able to work effectively as part of a team
