Trainee Site Managers

Trainee Site Managers – Based on sites across England and Scotland

This trainee role will be responsible for the work shadowing of a highly trained Site Manager to learn and develop all skills required to successfully manage all on-site operations of our concrete flooring and precast concrete contracts.   

Trainees will be based on site for the duration of a contract learning all installation and operational aspects as well as health and safety aspects of a concrete project.  Mentoring by a fully trained Site Manager is an excellent opportunity to develop a career within the construction industry. 

Training will be provided in the following areas :-

• Planning on a daily basis for all site works and ensuring daily targets are achieved
• Reading of technical drawings to understand the buildability of a contract
• Management and planning of all site resources
• Quality records for site operations
• Health and Safety standards
• Scheduling of deliveries

The Person ;

• Must have a keen interest to develop a career based on a construction site
• Must be site based, flexible to travel throughout the UK
• Possess a proactive can-do attitude with strong organisational skills and a willingness to learn
• The ability to read and understand technical drawings would be a distinct advantage.
