Investment in new equipment and upgrades to infrastructure.

Creagh Concrete recently completed the erection of a new Gantry Crane in their Toome Yard facilities with the assistance of the team from Van Haagen. Purchasing the crane and upgrades to the yard infrastructure cost in the region of £750,000. This significant investment gives the Toomebridge Head Office site an additional 7500m2 storage capacity.

The new Gantry Crane increases not only storage but increases the overall capacity of the business. This means that a large volume of stock can be held off site ready for despatch. The scale of precast builds including the rapidly growing precast residential frame business is increasing as on site trades people become more difficult to source.

The increased lifting capacity of 32 Ton which previously had been 12.5 Ton; also means that larger units can be accommodated opening new potential markets and reduces on site programmes with reduced numbers of lifts.
