British Precast Award Win!

Creagh win British Precast Health & Safety award for the second year running!

28-Jun-2019

Creagh were delighted to receive a Health & Safety award for the second year running at the prestigious British Precast annual dinner.

The award win was in recognition to Creagh’s invention of a pitching table that tilts to allow for safer erection of precast panels over 10 tonne on site, a first of its kind in the industry.

The pitching table process has increased safety of the lifting operation allowing less involvement of an operative and creates a safe distance from the panel during the pitching process. The reduced frequency of working from ladders and mobile elevated working platforms also reduces risk considerably and allows for more controlled movement.

Health and Safety Director Paul Feely was pleased to accept the win on the night:

“We are very pleased to receive this accolade for the second year in a row. I want to pay credit to our design, fabrication and installation team who worked closely together to create this bespoke tilting frame for the safe erection of precast panels.  Use of this frame significantly reduces on site risk and it’s great to be recognised for this here at the British Precast Awards”.
