Concrete testing & aggregates lab

New lab contributes to environmental sustainability

Creagh have completed the construction of a new concrete testing and aggregates lab in our Head Office facilities in Toomebridge.

The new lab is built using our Rapidres Fastrack Build System and constructed using up to 80% recycled materials from construction demolition waste (CDW) as part of our partnership with the European REuse and REcycling (RE4) project.

The RE4 project aims to radically modify the construction process and offsite production by promoting new technological solutions for the design and development of structural and non-structural prefabricated elements with:

- A high degree of recycled materials from construction and demolition waste.
- Reused structures from the partial or total demolition of buildings.

Creagh manufactured all precast wall panels, columns and beams for the entire project using CDW. Homespan flooring and precast stairs were also manufactured and installed by Creagh.
